For off-grid or backup, LiFePO4 is the best choice. Strong and safe.

@ViktoriaVibes Left mine in the van all winter — started up right away in spring. No worries at all.
Connect the positive of one battery to the negative of the next, and repeat. Only use one positive and one negative terminal to your inverter. Make sure all batteries are same model and charge level.
