Ja, die meisten BMS schalten zuverlässig ab, aber verlass dich nicht blind drauf. Wenn deine Geräte gelegentlich Spitzen ziehen, kann das BMS auch mal früher oder später reagieren.
@Tobi_Energie Ah, I’ve never been too worried about it. As long as the battery doesn’t catch fire, I’m happy. The BMS is there to make sure it doesn’t go overboard. All good!
BMS is a must, but I never rely on it alone! I always add extra temperature and voltage sensors to monitor everything. Safety first!

Yeah, maybe, but anchor winches can pull crazy high current. Without a strong battery and thick cables, voltage drop can happen.
