FAQ

App FAQs

Why does a COV alarm appear when fully charged?

After a full charge, the BMS may trigger the protection “Charge Over Voltage (COV)” and automatically end the charging process – this is a normal safety mechanism. Afterwards, the battery performs passive cell balancing; once the individual cell voltages are back within the normal range, the alarm will clear automatically. We recommend slow charging with a low current at least once a month to support the balancing.

How do I connect the app to my Bluetooth battery?

Open the Lithink app → allow the required permissions → enable Bluetooth on your smartphone. In the device list select the battery and tap the Bluetooth icon — or scan the Bluetooth QR code on the battery and pair it via "QR-Scan".

Can I rename the battery?

Yes. On the Bluetooth page, tap the pencil icon next to the battery name and edit the name.

How do I quickly find my battery?

On the Bluetooth page open the search field, enter a part of the battery name and search. Clearing the search field will show all batteries again.

How do I use the dashboard?

In the Dashboard tap Status in the top right and choose the desired view. You can select individual batteries or series/parallel connections for the real-time view.

How do I get to the alarm page?

Open the Dashboard, open the Battery card and tap Battery data – you will be taken to the Alarm page. Regular checks aren't necessary: if there are deviations, the Battery card will turn red and display an exclamation mark in the top right.

Which live data is visible?

Voltage (V), Capacity (Ah), Power (W), Current (A), Battery temperature, Cycle count, Remaining usable time, Estimated time to full charge, Individual cell voltages.

Can I control the battery remotely?

Yes. In the Dashboard battery card you can use Charge / Discharge to toggle the charge and discharge permissions. A prerequisite is an active Bluetooth connection within range.

Does the battery connect automatically?

Yes. After the first successful pairing, the app will automatically connect to the paired batteries when opened (within Bluetooth range).

How do “Update list” and “Ask for help” work?

In case of a malfunction open “Ask for help”, select the affected battery and contact us by e-mail at support@lithink.de. Please include the Bluetooth address from the alarm page and a description of the fault. After we adjust the parameters, open “Update list” and run the update.

Can I change the language and temperature unit?

Yes. On the About page you can change the App language as well as the Temperature unit (e.g. °C / °F).

Does the Lithink App collect my personal data?

No. The app only collects your email address and battery data (e.g. voltage, temperature, alarms) for device connection and for service. No other personal data is collected.
