1. How do I find the right Lithink battery for my off-grid or home storage system?

First determine which scenario applies to you: garden shed, weekend cabin, holiday home, or partially off-grid single-family home. Then compare your consumption with our tables on this page (kWh per day / typical appliances). There you can immediately see which Lithink configuration (e.g. 1× 24V 100Ah or 2× 12V 280Ah in parallel) we recommend for your scenario.

2. How much storage capacity (kWh) do I need per day?

Write down your main appliances, their power (Watt) and daily operating hours. Calculate: Watt × hours = Wh, the total equals your daily consumption in Wh or kWh. Example: 150 W refrigerator × 10 h ≈ 1.5 kWh. Compare the value with our ranges (e.g. 2–4 kWh / 4–8 kWh) to choose the appropriate battery size.

3. 12 V, 24 V or 48 V – which system voltage is sensible for my project?

For small backup solutions and garden sheds, 12 V is usually sufficient. For larger off‑grid systems with an inverter (house, cabin, home office), 24 V is more efficient because the currents are lower. For almost self‑sufficient single‑family homes, many inverters operate with 48 V systems – our 12‑ or 24‑V batteries are integrated here via suitable equipment (e.g. inverter / DC converters).

4. How do I combine multiple batteries correctly – in parallel or in series?

More capacity at the same voltage is achieved by parallel connection (e.g. 2× 12V 280Ah in parallel). A series connection to increase voltage is only permitted if it is expressly authorized in the datasheet – otherwise do not try it. Always combine only identical Lithink models and coordinate the design and protection with your electrician.

5. What do I need to consider for the PV system, inverter, and temperatures?

The PV output should match your daily consumption — use the PV guideline values in our tables as a reference. Inverters, MPPT controllers and chargers must be suitable for LiFePO₄ and match the battery’s voltage & current. In cold conditions: only charge below 0 °C with suitable Lithink models (e.g., those with self-heating); the BMS additionally protects the battery from harmful temperatures.
