Self-heating battery for freezing nights

If the cell temperature drops below +5 °C, the integrated heater starts automatically and warms the battery to about 15 °C. This allows you to safely recharge even in subzero temperatures without removing the battery or preheating it.

Important Safety Instructions

Gloves

Wear insulated gloves

Always use appropriate protective gloves when unpacking and connecting the battery.

Full Load

Fully charge before first use

The battery is delivered with approx. 60 % charge – fully charge it once before use.

Insulation

Insulate bare wires before connecting

Always secure exposed conductors with suitable insulating material before they are connected to the battery.

Polarity

Connect positive and negative correctly

Before tightening the clamps, check that the positive and negative terminals are not reversed. Tighten the clamps to 12 N·m.

Charger

Only use a suitable LiFePO₄ charger

Charge 12,8 V battery at 14,6 V, 25,6 V battery at 29,2 V.

Storage

Charge to about 50% for storage

Store at 10–35 °C and recharge approximately every 3 months.

Only connect identical Lithink batteries

Do not mix with other brands; for series/parallel connections use only identical models, purchase interval ≤ 1 month.

Q: What are the main applications of this battery?

A: This 12V 280Ah LiFePO₄ high-capacity battery is suitable for applications with very high energy demands, e.g., large solar storage systems, power supply for commercial vehicles, mobile high-power consumers, or emergency power systems. Compared with a 100Ah battery, it offers a significantly longer runtime and more energy reserve—ideal for applications requiring continuous power supply or high discharge currents.

F: What are the charge/discharge currents and C-rate of this battery?

A: With a nominal capacity of 280Ah, the standard charging current is 0.2C–0.5C (56–140A), the maximum continuous charging current is 200A and the maximum continuous discharging current is also 200A – suitable for high-current applications.

Q: How many charge cycles does the battery have?

A: Up to 8000 charge cycles at 80 % depth of discharge (DoD).

Q: How long is the warranty period for this battery?

A: 10 years. If the battery fails within this period, LiThink will cover all costs for repair or replacement.

A: The integrated BMS protects against overcharge, deep discharge, overcurrent, short circuit, as well as over- and under-temperature.
